As reported by The Indian Express, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State in Finance and Corporate Affairs, said that Rationalisation of tax slabs under GST would depend on the rise in revenue to be noticed in the coming days. He remarked that earlier 80 lakh dealers were registered in the pre-GST regime and post-GST implementation another 13.2 lakh dealers have been added and out of it 56,000 alone belong to West Bengal. He also said that dealers might be facing some problem with GSTN system but the system is perfect and will be further improved.
