Authorized Signatory details not found
Many taxpayers are facing the error saying "Authorized Signatory details not found or user not regitered ". The error is being faced by those taxpayers who are filing the GSTR1 return form by opting for EVC. After the user selects the option File with EVC and OTP received by the taxpayer is entered in the pop-up, portal throws the error Authorized Signatory details not found or user not regitered .
There is no possible solution found on the part of taxpayers as of now, as it is the server error. However, in case of firms where secondary authorised signatory option is available, one can try adding the secondary authorised signatory as primary and then try sending OTP on his mobile number, as it resets the information in GSTN servers. However, this method is not tested and is only suggested by technical experts. Using this method may lead to certain other complications as the portal is facing some technical glitches.
