Indian Customs has gone paperless with the help of e-SANCHIT.

What is e-SANCHIT?

e-SANCHIT is a paperless processing application, which facilitates the trade for submitting all required supporting documents for Customs clearance electronically with digital signatures. Traders will be able to submit applications, along with necessary supporting documents, for Customs clearance from his office/premises. With the objective of making the entire process of clearance faceless and electronic, e-SANCHIT is a major leap forward in promoting ease of doing business.

e-SANCHIT has been made mandatory for imports from 1 April 2018.
